STRATFORD, CT — Stratford’s youngest, and perhaps most famous, geography expert returned to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday, Nov. 1. It was the fifth appearance on the show for Nate Seltzer, 6, who displayed some new skills and presented Ellen with $258.63 that he raised at his “Lemon-Nate” stand for The Ellen Fund to help build a center in Rwanda to protect and study the endangered mountain gorillas.
In his original appearance in March 2017, Nate wowed the crowd by identifying flags from all over the world while also showing that he memorized the entire globe. Nate returned to the show in May and showed off more of his U.S. geography knowledge by identifying states and their capitals. Then in November, Nate identified city grids from all over the world.
He returned this past February to talk to Ellen about his favorite bands Pink Floyd and Genesis and his Valentine, Bella. In that appearance, Ellen also quizzed the Nate on bodies of water including Rio Grande, Lake Baikal and Lake Chaubunagungamaug.
