Stratford Boys' Basketball Beats Bethel, Improves To 3-1
The Stratford High School boys' basketball team recently won two out of three games, including an overtime thriller over Immaculate.
STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford boys’ basketball team improved to 3-1 with a 55-49 victory over Bethel Tuesday night in Stratford.
Jayquan Kirkland scored a team-high 22 points, while Brady Knorr had 15 and Mike D’Aloia and Fenley Turenne each added eight points apiece.
Dylan Breeland led Bethel with 25 points.

Stratford’s game against Brookfield was postponed on Friday night due to snow. It will be played Saturday at 3 p.m. in Stratford.
Immaculate 53, Stratford 44: Stratford suffered its first loss of the season to Immaculate last Saturday in Danbury.

Brady Knorr led Stratford with 17 points. Mike D’Aloia and Jayquan Kirkland each had 10 points apiece.
J.P. Miranda led Immaculate with 18 points.
Stratford 82, Pomperaug 73 (OT): Stratford won an overtime thriller over Pomperaug on Feb. 11 in Southbury.
Four players reached double figures for the Red Devils. Jayquan Kirkland led the way with 28 points, while Mike D’Aloia had 16 points, Fenley Turenne added 12 and Scott Knorr had 10.
Pomperaug’s Max Frakin nailed a 3-pointer with 1 second left in regulation to tie the game at 64.
Stratford was able to pull away behind Jayquan Kirkland’s nine points in overtime.
Frakin led Pomperaug with 29 points and Arik Dagon added 22.
