Stratford Bounces Back With Win Over Weston
The Red Devils rebounded from a hard-fought loss against Notre Dame-Fairfield.
STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford High School boys’ basketball team improved to 7-3 with a 43-37 victory over Weston on Saturday.
Brady Knorr led the Red Devils with a double-double — 12 points and 13 rebounds. Jaden Perez added 10 points to go along with four steals.
Stratford faces Kolbe Cathedral, one of Connecticut's top 10 teams, Tuesday in Bridgeport.

Notre Dame-Fairfield 74, Stratford 70: Stratford lost a hard-fought battle with Notre Dame-Fairfield by a score of 74-70 on Thursday night.
The Red Devils (6-3) played aggressive defense against the Lancers, who are ranked fourth in the state in most recent polls (Max Preps).

Mike D'Aloia led Stratford with 19 points, including five 3-pointers, while Brady Knorr also had 19 points and Jayquan Kirkland added 17 points.
Akim Joseph and Andrew Saint Louis each had 23 points for Notre Dame.
Stratford 66, New Fairfield 55: Stratford had three players in double figures as they rolled past New Fairfield with a 66-55 victory on March 1 to improve to 6-2.
Jayquan Kirkland scored a team-high 19 points, while Fenley Turenne added 14 and Brady Knorr had 13. Mike D’Aloia and Ben Petrie both added eight points apiece.
Matt Garbowski led New Fairfield with 16 points.
Stratford 59, Newtown 50: Jayquan Kirkland led the way for the Red Devils with 18 points in a win over Newtown on Feb. 26. Brady Knorr dropped in 11 points and Mike D’Aloia added 10.
Isaiah Thomas led Newtown with 13 points.
