Stratford Brewery Eyes Expansion In Town: Report

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford-based Athletic Brewing Company is eyeing a long vacant 19-acre property at 495 Lordship Blvd. for a second facility in town, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Athletic Brewing Company, a craft non-alcoholic brewery, is also looking to hire up to 100 more employees as part of a $30 million expansion plan.

Athletic Brewing Company plans to stay at its current location on Long Beach Boulevard and is looking to make a deal with the town for a partial abatement of property taxes over the next several years for the redevelopment of the property for the second facility, according to the Post.
