Stratford Businesses Cited In Tobacco Compliance Check: Police
Several businesses were issued infractions for selling tobacco products to minors during a recent compliance check, according to police.
STRATFORD, CT — Four Stratford businesses were cited for selling tobacco products to minors during a recent compliance check, according to police.
The Stratford Police Department conducted a tobacco compliance check of local businesses on May 13 to verify that they are in compliance with state regulations pertaining to sales of tobacco and tobacco products to minors, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
Eannotti said 12 businesses were checked during the operation and four were issued infractions for violations.

7-Eleven, 3621 Main Street
Eannotti also noted that the following businesses were in compliance with the law and did not sell tobacco to underage customers:
Wheels, 440 Lordship Boulevard
CITGO Food Mart, 2000 Barnum Avenue
BP Gas Station, 265 Boston Avenue
Stratford Cigar Shop, 2340 Broadbridge Avenue
The Bruce Avenue Corner Market, 189 Bruce Avenue
EZ Stop, 3355 Main Street
Billows and Blaze Smoke Shop, 1056 Stratford Avenue
KN Smoke Shop, 7365 Main Street
