Stratford Firefighters Respond to Condo Fire

Stratford firefighters are currently on the scene of a reported fire at a Stratford condo in the northern section of town.

“At approximately 3:34 p.m. (fire department personnel) responded to 498 Niantic Lane for smoke and flames showing, multiple calls,” reads a post on the department’s Facebook page.

The post says the caller was unsure if anyone was inside the home but firefighters on scene report that “primary searches in both units are negative.”

Personnel on scene is also reporting “heavy smoke with no flames showing."
