STRATFORD, CT — Stratford Girl Scout Troop 37025 has been working to revitalize the garden in front of the VFW Post 9460 as a part of their Silver Award project.

The Silver Award is the second-highest award in Girl Scouts, earned by girls in sixth to eighth grade. This project was chosen by the girls to honor local veterans as well as beautify the town.

The troop worked many hours weeding, planting, resetting the garden borders, asking and collecting donations from local business to make this project a success. Troop 37025 would like to thank Grillo landscaping, Thrivent, Glendale Farm and Home Depot of Stratford for their generous donations.
