Stratford Man Stole $60K Worth Of Lighters: Police

A man is accused of stealing $60,000 worth of lighters from the BIC Corp., according to police.

MILFORD, CT — A Stratford man was arrested after he stole more than $60,000 worth of lighters from the BIC Corp., according to police.

The alleged thefts took place in 2019 and 2020, police said. Leroy Mack, 50, of Stratford, was arrested Tuesday on an active warrant.

He was charged with third-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 21.
