The altercation turned physical and a 21-year-old Norwalk woman and a 22-year-old Bridgeport woman were punched in the face by Alan Baez of 1060 Freeman St., Stratford. Both women suffered minor injuries, but only the Norwalk woman was treated in Norwalk Hospital, police said.

Despite being pulled away from the women and being told to stop throwing punches, Baez allegedly continued and was tasered by police. He was treated in Norwalk Hospital for minor injuries related to the fight and being tasered.

Baez was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. He posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior on Aug. 9.
