Stratford Native Launching Food Review Series On Netflix

The YouTube star, who is known as Daym Drops, rose to fame after his review of Five Guys Burgers & Fries garnered more than 11 million views

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford native who rose to fame reviewing fast-food restaurants on YouTube is launching a new series on Netflix next week, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reported Daymon Patterson, known as Daym Drops, has hosted his own Travel Channel series and made national TV appearances and his new show “Fresh, Fried & Crispy” launches on Netflix on June 9.

“Passionate about food and ready for fun, critic Daym Drops drops in on America's smokin' hot spots for the best, freshest takes on fried food,” reads the description for “Fresh, Fried & Crispy” on Netflix. “Daym Drops first found fame as a fast-food-reviewing YouTuber. Now he's revealing his fried-food finds across the US.”

Patterson’s review of Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Farmington in 2012 has garnered nearly 11 million views on YouTube.
