Stratford’s Nate Seltzer Surprises Fellow Whiz Kid On ‘Ellen’

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford’s Nate Seltzer, 6, returned to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this week with another adorable appearance. Nate, who made his first appearance on the show in in March 2017, surprised another 6-year-old geography expert, Landon Gregory from Collinsville, Oklahoma, with the visit on Monday’s show. In Landon’s segment, he told Ellen that he began learning geography in mid-July and wants to be best friends with Nate because he’s “just like me.”
Landon showed off his geography expertise by identifying countries and their capitals on a world map. He also told Ellen that his favorite country is Russia because “it’s the largest country in the world and because of its national anthem.”
Ellen then brought Nate out to meet Landon for a surprise visit. Nate, after much thought, told Ellen that his favorite country was China and he had some advice for Landon.

“I have two rules,” Nate said. “Rule No. 1, always have fun. Rule No. 2, listen to Rule No. 1.”
Landon said his favorite thing about Nate is “he’s just like me,” while Nate said his favorite thing about Landon is “he’s even smarter than me.”

“On TV (backstage), I heard things I didn’t even know about geography,” Nate said.
Nate gave Landon a homemade Russia activity book. The book featured a word search and Russian phrases, including “hello,” “goodbye” and “there’s no collusion.”
Ellen then surprised the geography whiz kids with tickets to Disneyland to kick off their new friendship. Watch the full segments below (first video is Ellen meeting Landon and then Nate's surprise visit with Landon):
