Stratford Seeks New Proposals For Former Center School Property
The town is preparing a new call for developers for the long vacant former Center School property, according to a report.
STRATFORD, CT — The town is making another attempt at finding a developer for the long-vacant former Center School property in downtown Stratford, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Mayor Laura Hoydick announced at last week’s Town Council meeting that a third request for proposal was being prepared for the 4-acre town-owned property at East Broadway and Sutton Avenue.
Xenolith Partners LLC unveiled plans last June for its “Stratford Walk” proposal, which called for the property to be redeveloped into a residential complex with more than 100 apartments consisting of market rate and affordable housing.
