Stratford Student Performing In Charity Cabaret

The Heroes and Villains Charity Cabaret will take place on Zoom through A Class Act New York and benefit the No Kid Hungry program.

STRATFORD, CT — Sage Sperling, a junior at Stratford High School, will be performing in a live Zoom charity fundraiser this weekend through A Class Act New York.

The event, Heroes and Villains Charity Cabaret, will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 7 on Zoom. Tickets start at $10 and all proceeds benefit No Kid Hungry.

Performers from ages 7 to 20s will perform solo numbers from their home to raise money for No Kid Hungry to help support their goal of ending childhood hunger in America.

“Performers should choose songs by their favorite Musical Theatre heroes, or villains!” reads the event description. “Are you Eliza Schuyler or Aaron Burr? Seymour or Audrey II? Javert or Jean Valjean? Simba or Scar? Daddy Warbucks or Miss Hannigan?

“Every story has a hero, and someone who is trying to get in the way- we’re excited to see YOUR interpretation!”
