STRATFORD, CT — Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick recently hosted a reception to thank a group of National Art Honor Society students from Stratford High School who helped Town Hall with several holiday decorating initiatives. The reception was held Dec. 5 in the Town Hall Council Chambers.

The students painted ornaments for a Christmas tree to be auctioned off at a Friends of Boothe Park event, created dozens of ceramic ornaments to decorate two trees at Town Hall for the Be Kind program, designed ornaments to hand out at the town tree lighting, and agreed to paint faces at the event. The group also surprised town staff with decorations for every office door at Town Hall.
