Stratford Summer Concert Series Lineup Announced

STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford 2021 Summer Sunset Concert Series kicks off June 22 with a performance by the popular ban The Cold Ones, the Stratford Department of Recreation announced Tuesday.

The concerts will be performed at the Paradise Green Gazebo from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays through Sept. 7. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be held the following Thursdays. A special Friday concert with the Community Concert Band is planned for Aug. 13.

“The Summer Concert Series is a Stratford tradition,” Mayor Laura R. Hoydick said in a statement. “Families and friends have been enjoying these concerts for generations. It’s a great way to connect with the community on a summer night, enjoying great entertainment on our beautiful Paradise Green.”

The 2021 Summer Concert Series lineup is below:

“Paradise Pizza Restaurant is again the proud sponsor of this Celebrate Stratford Series,” officials wrote in a news release. “Stop on over for dinner before the concert, or grab a pizza to enjoy while listening to the music.

“Those attending the Summer Concerts Series are welcome to park in the back of the Stratford Baptist Church at 131 Huntington Rd. The church asks that attendees keep off the grass at the church. We thank the Stratford Baptist Church for providing this accommodation.”
