Stratford Summer Concert Series To Return, With Safety Protocols
"These events are more important to our community than ever before," Mayor Laura Hoydick said in a news release.
STRATFORD, CT — The 2020 Summer Sunset Concert Series will kick off Tuesday with a performance by the band Oddfellows. The series concerts will be performed 7 to 9 p.m. on their scheduled dates at the Paradise Green Gazebo.
“We are so pleased to move forward with this popular summertime tradition,” Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick said in a town news release. “Although the series is abbreviated compared to prior years, it will be a welcome opportunity for folks to enjoy evenings of great music on the lovely Paradise Green. These events are more important to our community than ever before, and it will be fun to gather together again.”

- Oddfellows, rock 'n' roll, Tuesday (rain date July 28)
- Re-Entry Band, light rock and blues, Aug. 11 (rain date Aug. 13)
- The Void, rock, pop, and rhythm and blues, Aug. 18 (rain date Aug. 20)
- The Cold Ones, rock and pop, Aug. 25 (rain date Aug. 27)
- Chauncey Street Blues Band, blues, Sept. 1 (rain date Sept. 3)
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, attendees will be required to practice social distancing protocols. Those within the same family may sit together while allowing a minimum of 6 feet between other groups. Face masks are to be worn when entering local businesses.
