In addition to the tree lighting, landmarks and buildings throughout Stratford will be decorated for the holidays.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford will ring in the holidays Tuesday with its annual Town Hall Tree Lighting.

The tree lighting will be broadcast 6 p.m. via Facebook Live on Mayor Laura Hoydick’s page, www.facebook.com/MayorLauraHoydick/, according to a town news release. Guests are also welcome to attend the tree lighting in person on the Town Hall green.

In addition to the tree lighting, landmarks and buildings throughout Stratford will be decorated for the holidays by the public works department and the Stratford Beautification Committee. Plans to construct neighborhood photo opportunities, allowing residents to capture the joy of the holidays with their families in a safe, socially distanced setting are also being discussed.
