Two Roads Selection Ranks Among Best Beers Of 2018
Stratford-based Two Roads Brewing Company earned high praise from a popular website in its rankings for the 50 Best Beers of 2018.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford-based Two Roads Brewing Company earned high marks from popular website VinePair in its rankings for the 50 Best Beers of 2018. VinePair released its annual rankings this week and a Two Roads selection earned the No. 2 spot on the list.
The VinePair team sampled hundreds of selections to narrow the list down to 50. VinePair used the following criteria for its rankings:
All beers had to be available in the U.S. in a can or bottle retail. (Sorry, crowlers! Maybe next year.) The top 50 list focuses on beers that are accessible; though a few may be hard to find, it is possible to procure them even if you’re not in that city or state. Although many beers are new in 2018, this is not a requirement. No beers from last year’s top 50 list were considered, and entries were limited to one beer per brewery. Beers were tasted more than once, particularly those among the top 10.
The VinePair team selected Sauvignon Blanc Gose from the Two Roads Brewing Tanker Truck Series as the second-best beer in 2018. VinePair picked Sierra Nevada Brewing’s Hazy Little Thing IPA in the No. 1 spot as the Best Beer of 2018.

VinePair wrote that Two Road’s Sauvignon Blanc Gose “unites two of our favorite things: gose and classic white wine. On-trend with its tropical fruit notes (think passionfruit, lemon, and citrus), and expertly dialed in with a tart, salty base, this new addition to the Tanker Truck Series is at once invigorating and restrained, finishing dry with a crisp mineral finish.”
