Wine And Spirits Distributor Leases Stratford Warehouse
Connecticut Distributors Inc. recently leased a more than 27,000-square-foot building for storage and distribution.
STRATFORD, CT — An industrial warehouse in Stratford has a new tenant.
Connecticut Distributors Inc. recently leased the more than 27,000-square-foot building at 280 Garfield Ave. to use for storage and distribution, according to a news release from Vidal/Wettenstein LLC, which negotiated the lease with Avison Young.
Founded in 1933, Stratford-based Connecticut Distributors Inc. is among the largest wine and spirits distributors in the state, according to the company’s website.

“Our business has been steadily growing over the last few years as we have attracted more suppliers to distribute their brands,” Director of Business Logistics Bill Steindl said in the news release. “CDI continues to invest in our infrastructure with this larger second warehouse along with major upgrades to our conveyor system located at our main Stratford facility.”
The building on Garfield Avenue was originally constructed and occupied by Kaster Movers and was more recently home to a recreational business, according to the news release, published Nov. 5.
