Parking Ban, Winter Storm Notices Announced In Stratford
Officials are advising residents of several notices, including a parking ban, due to a two-day storm in the forecast.
STRATFORD, CT — Officials are advising residents of several notices, including a parking ban, due to a long duration moderate winter storm that is expected to affect the region beginning Thursday morning into Friday afternoon.
Snow accumulation is predicted to be around 5 to 9 inches.
“Commutes and travel may be impacted,” officials wrote in a news release. “Residents are asked to stay off the roads if possible during this time, to allow Public Works to clear them.”

A parking ban will be in effect from 8 a.m. Thursday morning until 8 a.m. on Saturday morning (Feb. 20) to facilitate snow removal. Residents should park on the even-numbered side of the street.
TRASH COLLECTION
At this time there is no anticipated change in the schedule of trash collection.
TOWN OFFICE SCHEDULES:
All Town administrative offices will be open as scheduled. Online options for tax payment remain available and residents are encouraged to use them.
