18 Scouts Participate in Scouts in Government Day
Scouts in Government Day is an annual event in which Scouts BSA members and Girl Scouts shadow Town of Trumbull employees
First Selectman Vicki Tesoro welcomed 18 Girl Scouts and Scouts BSA members to the 2019 Scouts in Government Day on Tuesday afternoon, March 26. Youth participants came from Scouts BSA Troops 65 and 67, Cub Scout Pack 164, as well as Girl Scout Troops # 30085, 30159, 35182, 35430, 36001, and 36153. The Scouts learned about the careers of town Trumbull Officials, employees or volunteers, from the inside out, as they shadowed the employees for the afternoon.

Scouts in Government Day is an annual event in which Scouts BSA members and Girl Scouts shadow Town of Trumbull Officials, employees & volunteers. It is a long standing tradition in Trumbull, dating back to the 1960s.
