Trumbull Resident Wins CT Lottery Prize

The lucky winner also purchased the ticket locally, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull resident is more than $170,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Tuesday, William Perkins claimed a winning Fast Play - $5 Hot Ticket Progressive ticket worth $171,383. He purchased the game from Trumbull Food Mart LLC on White Plains Road.

The game, which can cost $1 to $5 per ticket, starts at a certain amount. Once that amount is funded, the prize pool grows with each ticket sold until someone wins.
