Peerless Cleaners is back.
The 30-year-old company lost its lease after 30 years in the Stop & Shop shopping center but it's under new ownership.
Tina Park, who owns a dry cleaner in Norwalk, manages the new Peerless Cleaners, which is owned by the proprietor of the Trumbull Nails and Spa in the same plaza.
The new business uses an organic "hydrocarbon" cleaning machine which leaves clothes with "no smell, very soft," Park said.
The business re-opened Sept. 9, Park said.
It also offers alterations and repairs and 30 percent off on dry-cleaning. It's open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
