From C.E.S.: Students at the Regional Center for the Arts in Trumbull will perform the culture-changing dramatic play "The Laramie Project" on Friday and Saturday nights in the school's Black Box Theater.
"The Laramie Project" chronicles the life of a Wyoming town in the year after a gay college student, Matthew Shepard, was beaten to death. The infamous 1998 hate crime opened the doors to discussion and awareness of homophobia in America.
