Connecticut Weather: Easter Week Forecast Details

Here is an update on what to expect weather wise over the next seven days including the Easter holiday weekend.

There will be no fifth straight week of nor'easter impacts for Connecticut. And, the weather will feature a significant warmup this week with temps approaching 60 degrees at time. Temps will cool down somewhat on Easter Sunday but there will be plenty of sunshine.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be the warmest days of the week with temps in the low to mid 50s and high temps could approach 60 degrees on Thursday. There may be some rain on Tuesday night and Wednesday and more rain on Friday.

And most importantly, there is no chance of snow in the 7-day weather forecast.

WTNH News 8 Meterologist Gil Simmons says, "A cold start followed by sunny skies and near 50 for temperatures. Today & tomorrow will be the brightest days of the week. Clouds and shower chances arrive Wednesday through the end of the week with 50s. Have a good day & week."
