Trumbull resident Jenna Rose spotted a bobcat in a yard on Silver Lane recently.
A bobcat was previously spotted on Calhoun Avenue.
Bobcats are the only wild cats found in Connecticut. Males are typically between 18 and 35 pounds and measure 32 to 37 inches in length, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Adult females weight between 15 and 30 pounds and are 28 to 32 inches in length.
Their diet mainly consists of small animals such as rabbit and squirrels, but they are known to take on deer that are either very young, very old or very sick.
