Chip's To Temporarily Close In Trumbull
The popular restaurant is temporarily closed as it looks for a new location.

TRUMBULL, CT — Chip's Family Restaurant will be temporarily closed in Trumbull as it looks for a larger space. It closed on Jan. 5. Customers can visit other locations nearby in Orange and Fairfield.
“While we understand some people may be inconvenienced by the closure of the Trumbull
location, we look forward to serving our customers at our other restaurants until we open the
doors to our new facility,” said George Chatzopoulos, owner of the Chip's chain.
The Trumbull location located in the Monroe Turnpike Plaza opened six years ago, but it has since outgrown the space, Chatzopoulos said. Chip's is in talks with other property owners in Trumbull and Monroe that offers more space and parking.
