Cub Scout Pack 167 celebrates Annual Blue & Gold Banquet

Cub Scouts biggest night of the year

Cub Scout Pack 167 celebrated their Annual Blue and Gold Banquet on Feb 8 at Vazzy’s 19th Hole in Fairfield. Blue and Gold Banquets are a tradition in Cub Scout packs. They are a celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the BSA on February 8, 1910. The Arrow of Light ceremony was held for the 5th graders to cross over to Troop 67. The boys were entertained by magician Wizard Jim of Trumbull. Wizardjim.com. There was a special roast in honor of Cubmaster Noel Thompson whose tenure has ended but will continue with Troop 67. He was presented with a customized framed picture signed by the boys. For more information on Cub Scout Pack 167 click here: http://www.scoutlander.com/publicsite/unithome.aspx?UID=31832
