Jazz Concerts At The Regional Center For The Arts
The Music Dept. at Cooperative Educational Services' Regional Center for the Arts invites the public to attend jazz concerts in December.
From the Regional Center for the Arts: The Music Department at Cooperative Educational Services’ (C.E.S.) Regional Center for the Arts (RCA) invites the public to attend jazz concerts on Wednesday, Dec. 6, and Thursday, Dec. 7. Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in the RCA Main Theater located at 23 Oakview Drive in Trumbull. Admission is $5 at the door, general seating. All proceeds support RCA programs.
Both performances will feature students from Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Newtown, Redding, Shelton, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull, and New Fairfield performing musical selections made famous by Duke Ellington, Jethro Tull, Ella Fitzgerald, J.S. Bach, Clifford Brown, Mariachi Vargas, Chick Webb, Snarky Puppy, Antonio Vivaldi, Josh Groban, Diana Ross, and many other renowned artists.
“These students continuously reach unprecedented levels of professionalism and expertise for musicians their age,” said Dr. Anthony DeQuattro, chair of the RCA Music Department. “We are fortunate that so many of them have chosen to come to Trumbull to share their gifts.”
