Jazz Concerts At Trumbull RCA

TRUMBULL, CT - From Regional Center For The Arts: The Music Department at the Regional Center for the Arts (RCA) invites the public to enjoy jazz concerts on Wednesday, May 30, and Thursday, May 31. Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in the RCA Main Theater at 23 Oakview Drive in Trumbull. Admission is $5 at the door, general seating. All proceeds support RCA programs.

Both performances will feature students from Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Newtown, Redding, Shelton, Stamford, Stratford, and Trumbull performing musical selections made famous by Duke Ellington, Blood Sweat and Tears, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong, John Legend, George Gershwin, Joe Zawinul, Van Morrison, the Charlie Daniels Band, and many other renowned artists.

“The fact that most of these students demonstrate musicianship far beyond their years is nothing less than awe-inspiring,” RCA Principal Dr. Mark Ribbens said. “I know how hard they work and I am filled with pride that we can call them RCA students.”
