TRUMBULL, CT — A West Haven teen was arrested for stealing from unlocked vehicles on Thursday, according to police.

A resident notified police that juveniles were breaking into cars in the Edison Road area and were traveling in a black BMW. An officer found the BMW in the middle of the roadway with no lights and a rear door open, said Lt. Brian Weir, police spokesman.

A person was seen running from a nearby driveway and into the BMW. The BMW then sped away from police. It had been reported stolen.
