Man Jumps From Route 25 Bridge, In Critical Condition: PD
The man jumped from the Daniels Farm Road bridge near the Route 25 overpass.

TRUMBULL, CT —A 64-year-old man is in critical condition after he jumped from the Daniels Farm Road bridge at the Route 25 overpass in Trumbull Sunday evening.
Several people called police around 8:20 p.m. to report that a man was sitting on a fence on the overpass. He jumped shortly after officers arrived, said police spokesman Lt. Brian Weir.
The victim was conscious and alert but sustained serious injuries. He was taken to Bridgeport Hospital where he was reported to be in critical condition late Sunday night.

The man isn't believed to be a Trumbull resident and a vehicle located near the bridge is believed to be his, Weir said.
Trumbull Police are investigating the incident as an apparent suicide attempt along with State Police.
