Popular TV News Reporter Returns To Connecticut

Jill Konopka is back covering the state for Fox 61.

CONNECTICUT — Jill Konopka, a veteran television news reporter who covered Connecticut in the past, has returned to the state, this time with Fox 61.

Konopka spent a decade in the state with WFSB and NBC Connecticut before a stint most recently in her hometown of Albany. The Laurel, which first reported the news of Konopka's return, wrote that she is already back to her "hard charging form."

According to her LinkedIn page, Konopka has broken several scoops, including one about the premature release of a jailed killer; another about a priest accused of molestation; and one on a pre-dawn FBI raid.
