Rally Against Racism Set For Trumbull Saturday

TRUMBULL, CT — A group of concerned members of the Trumbull community have organized a rally against racism at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Town Hall Green. See the flyer below.

Called Stand Together Against Racism Trumbull, the event is scheduled to be a peaceful demonstration featuring several speakers. Attendees are asked to wear masks and social distance.

Speakers will include Preston Tisdale, Civil Rights Advocate, Attorney at Koskoff & Bieder and a recipient of the 2021 Liberty Bell Award for his dedication to civic responsibility, according to the organizers.

Additionally, Stanley Lord, President of NAACP - Greater Bridgeport chapter, also is scheduled to speak at the event, as are a number of local young people.
