Resident: Gary Knight is a Hero

The following is a letter to the editor.

To the Editor: 

Thank you, Trumbull Patch, for shining a well-deserved spotlight on 26-year Army veteran, Gary Knight. What a distinguished career.

This gentleman has given 26 years of his life to defend his country, our country . . . to defend strangers . . . and, most ironically, to help ensure the freedom to 'enjoy' the petty, pointless, nasty post election political bickering some are engaging in even today - Veteran's Day.

Gary Knight is a true hero. Thank you, Mr. Knight.

For each and every one of our veterans, I hope you will continue to honor and serve America, and our Trumbull community, in the proud tradition of our

military . . . with class and graciousness.
