The southbound section of the highway will be closed for part of Wednesday morning.
TRUMBULL, CT — Route 8 southbound is closed between exits 11 and 10 due to police investigating a crash.
The closure started at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to last 30 to 45 minutes.
A detour through Trumbull is established.
