St. Catherine's Thanksgiving Food Drive was a Great Success

The Parish of St. Catherine of Siena (220 Shelton Road, Trumbull) extends a very special and heartfelt THANK YOU to all parishioners and neighbors who so generously donated food and monetary gifts to the 2020 THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE.

More than 95 boxes of food and 28 frozen turkeys were distributed to 7 charities in Trumbull & Bridgeport. "We have also helped several of our own St. Catherine of Siena parishioners in need. You have helped put meals on tables and hopes in hearts," said Salvatore Spadaccino, Coordinator of Social Justice and Charitable Outreach for the Parish.

Fr. Skip from Blessed Sacrament Church, Fr. Rolando from Saint Mary Church, Msgr. Walsh from Saint Charles Borromeo Church, Sister Anna from the Convent of Mary Immaculate and the Trumbull Food Bank send their deepest appreciation and wishes for a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Other initiatives of the Social Justice & Charitable Outreach Team include: school supplies drive, toiletry drive, hat, coat & sweater drive, Thanksgiving food drive and other emergency food drives, pro-life baby shower, and many more.
