TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull police are investigating a phone threat that was made to Trumbull High School Friday. Police secured the school and later determined the threat wasn't credible. The school dismissed at the regular time, but after school activities were canceled out of an abundance of caution.

A threatening message was left on a high school administrator's voicemail using a computer-modified voice, Lt. Brian Weir, police spokesman said. The call mentioned a communication application and a juvenile student's name.

Police interviewed the identified student and learned that their personal information was posted online and that they weren't responsible for the threat.
