Trumbull Busy Fixing Roads, Here's Where

The town is reconstructing some roads and paving others. Here is a look ahead at the next couple weeks of work.

TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull is busy the next couple of weeks between reconstruction of Chestnut Hill Road, Moose Hill Road and regular paving.

Below are some updates on what is going on and where to avoid construction:

Moose Hill Road

Below is the anticipated 2 week look ahead for The Moose Hill Road Reconstruction Project. Dates and locations are subject to change based on numerous unforeseen factors. The updates shall be posted here on our website. Dayton Construction is the contractor working for the Town.

Work will continue until the end of 2019 (weather permitting). Various sections of the road will be closed to “Thru Traffic” at different times throughout this process. The Town of Trumbull will endeavor to keep disturbance to a minimum. However, your patience will be much appreciated. Construction work is anticipated to start at 7:00 am daily. All bus stops will remain at their current locations.

Chestnut Hill Road

Regular Paving

  6. Drainage repairs to continue on Old Dike Road
  7. Landscaping to continue on Blackhouse Road Culvert
  8. Paving and installation of sidewalks at Middlebrooks School parking lot to continue

Week of August 12th, 2019:
