Elizabeth Clark, 43, and Brittanie Samuels, 22, both of Reservoir Avenue, Bridgeport, are each charged with larceny.
Clark is charged with sixth-degree larceny and Samuels with fifth-degree larceny.
Police said the two were spotted taking numerous items of clothing and putting them in a pocketbook and a shopping bag. They paid for some of the items before walking out, according to police.
Clark took about $500 in items and Samuels about $879.
Samuels' bond was set at $500 and Clark is free on a written promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.
