Jahaira Caceres, 32, of Pond Street, Bridgeport, is charged with sixth-degree larceny and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Police said Caceres took tags off of jewelry and placed it in purses at Kohl's, in addition to stealing boots, while accompanied by a juvenile and a 2-year-old.
The merchandise totaled about $369, police said. The juvenile was also charged with sixth-degree larceny.
She was released on a written promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior court.
