Gaytoria Q. Smith, 37, of Harral Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with fifth-degree larceny.
Police said she stole from Macy's in the Westfield Trumbull Mall. She was also allegedly found with merchandise including six pairs of jeans and Versace merchandise, totaling $635.
Her bond was set at $1,000 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
