Elaine Marie Jara, 23, of Wilbur Peck Court, Greenwich, is charged with risk of injury to a minor and sixth-degree larceny.
Police said Jara placed items in her carriage at Lord & Taylor, in the company of a minor.
Her bond was set at $500 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
