Trumbull Middle Schooler Selling Snickers to Help Snickers the Dog

Snickers is virtually blind and needs cataract surgery. Madison Middle School student Allison Targowski is helping raise money.

A Madison Middle School student is selling Snickers candy bars to help Snickers the dog get much-needed cataract surgery.

Snickers is four-years-old and is virtually blind because of cataracts. The surgery will keep his retinas from deteriorating further. The Trumbull Animal Group (TAG) first posted about Snicker’s story and asked for donations.

Allison Targowski, an 8th grader, has been selling snickers bars and has helped start a GoFundMe campaign to raise $2,000 for the surgery.
