Trumbull PD Makes 3 Recent DUI Arrests
In one of the incidents a man interfered with a 911 call, police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull Police made three DUI arrests recently.
Stephen Moran, 52, of Trumbull was arrested May 30 on DUI and other charges after he got into a fight with a family member and stopped the victim from making a 911 call, police said.
Moran ripped the phone cord from the wall and pushed the family member, according to police. He then left the scene in a vehicle and was spotted by officers, but drove away. He was found several streets away.

Moran failed a field sobriety test and refused a breath test, police said.
He was charged with DUI, interfering with a 911 call, disorderly conduct and interfering with police.

Thomas O'Neill, 39, of Bridgeport was charged May 29 with DUI, operating under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
O'Neill was driving erratically in the area of Main and Quality streets. He failed a field sobriety test and refused a breath test, police said. Officers found a marijuana smoking pipe and prescription pills outside of their proper containers.
Danny Wisneski, 49, of Trumbull was charged June 7 with DUI. An officer spotted him driving slowly on Strobel Road and noticed he pulled over into a grassy area and put a brown paper bag inside his vehicle's trunk, police said. He appeared unsteady on his feet.
He failed a field sobriety test and refused a breath test, police said. Inside the bag was an alcoholic beverage container.
