Trumbull: Petition Now to Appeal Vehicle Tax Assessments
Board of Assessment Appeals holding hearings in early September.
The Trumbull Board of Assessment Appeals will be convening on Sept. 3 to hear petitions on the Motor Vehicle Grand List set in October 2013.
In order to appeal, residents must file a written petition with the Board by Friday, Aug. 29. Download a petition here (and a how-to on petitioning the Board here) or pick one up at the Assessor’s Office in Town Hall.
Residents must also bring the vehicle in question to the hearing for inspection.
The Board will be meeting in Town Hall from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 3.
