TRUMBULL, CT – July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel or postpone the annual Fourth of July events, including Trumbull.
Trumbull Day along with several other popular summer festivals across the state have been canceled.
The Trumbull Day Commission hopes to have a firework display sometime in late summer or early fall assuming that Gov. Ned Lamont further relaxes the limits on gathering sizes. Only 500 people could attend if fireworks were held on the scheduled July 3 date.
