Trumbull School Named Among Top 50 Christian Highs

Trumbull’s Christian Heritage School (CHS) has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Christian high schools in the country, according to TheBestSchools.org.

The website — billed as a leading resource for students pursuing higher education after high school — selected CHS based on several weighted factors, including academic excellence, extracurricular richness, geographical and demographical diversity, and reputation.

The schools to make the Top 50 (listed in alphabetical order, not ranked) are all coed day schools (no boarding schools).

“In compiling this list, we took into account reviews by parents and students, especially if several negative reviews underscored the same concern,” the site explains in the introduction. “We thought that geographic and demographic diversity was important to this list because we wanted to highlight the best in Christian secondary education across America.”

Trumbull is the only Connecticut school to make the list (at No. 15).
