Trumbull Stop And Shop Donates To CT Food Bank Amid Strike
The Trumbull store has donated excess dairy, meat and produce to the CT Food Bank.
TRUMBULL, CT —Stop & Shop is working with the CT Food Bank and local food pantries to donate as much food as possible amid a strike by union workers.
The Bridgeport Rescue Mission visited the Trumbull Stop & Shop and picked up excess food including meat, dairy and produce.
"It's just our way of doing what’s right in a tough situation," said Trumbull store manager Michelle Witcher.
