Trumbull Woman Killed After Being Struck By Car
The woman was struck by a sedan shortly after 5 p.m. Friday, and died at a hospital shortly thereafter, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull woman was killed late Friday afternoon when she was struck by a car while walking on Canoe Brook Road, according to police.
Lisa Cimmino, 57, was walking near Madison Ave. just after 5 p.m. when she was struck by a sedan, causing serious life-threatening injuries. The car immediately came to a stop a short distance away, and the driver, an unidentified Trumbull man, offered his full cooperation during the investigation, police said.
Cimmino was brought to St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where she died a short time later from her injuries, police said.

No charges have been filed in connection with the accident, according to police.
